Joining forces is the slogan for S.O.N.G. . Based in Bremen (Germany) 25-year old DJ Oliver Schories is now playing for more than 10 years gigs in all around Germany. In 2005 he got into first contact with the producer Nico Grubert from Zurich, Switzerland. Very soon they found out that they – in regard of music – belong together. After Nico had several productions out on Whirlpool Sex Records, Big City Beats and 38db-Tonsportgruppe , he and Oliver started in May 2007 producing together.
The combination of Nico’s (age 30) more than 12 years of producing experience and Olivers’ knowledge about what works fine on the dancefloor was their first production: Their techhouse-track Rabbit came out in October on Kaufe Musik Rec. (Frankfurt) and got massive support from eg. Tocadisco and Nudisco. Having gigs together with Digitalism, Dada Life, Sono and GusGus brought Oliver more and more into the direction of the “French” Kitsune / Ed Banger – Sound during 2007. So he and Nico decided in December to start their new electro-project: S.O.N.G. .
After having finished their first three tracks catfight, the cannon and monitoring in January 2008, they got over 1000 clicks on myspace during 3 days and it’s getting more and more. With their fourth track catfight they got over 5000 downloads in one week.
